Daily News - October 7th 2010

Not much to share today, let's not waste anytime and let's dive right in.

Yesterday I mentioned on my Facebook that NBC has suspended production on the series Outlaw. They haven't officially canceled it, yet. They have eight episodes total filmed and they've only aired three so far. They'll air the remaining five and see how it does in the ratings hoping it gets better. I don't know about you all, but I'm not exactly keen on showing interest in a show that even the network that airs it isn't really overly interested in at this point. I'm thinking the ratings will go down and the show will get canceled before the remaining five episodes even air.

Cnn.com reported today that at a recent speaking engagement in Texas Sarah Palin told the crowd that the producers of Dancing With The Stars actually wanted her husband Todd Palin. I can't believe this as he's even less a star then their daughter Bristol.

SyFy has announced that they have decided to renew Haven, Haven is shown on Showcase in Canada. Haven is from the mind of Stephen King.

Jersey Boys is making the leap from Broadway to the Big Screen. The title of the film will actually be Jersey Boys: The Story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.

South Park fans might be happy to learn that the creators of the cartoon have decided to spoof Jersey Shore on the October 13th episode.

In my favorite news of the day, the FX Network has decided to renew Sons Of Anarchy for a fourth season after just five episodes in its third season. This excites me greatly as this is one of my favorite shows.

Second favorite news of the day, Danny Trejo from the recently released Machete is heading to Modern Family. TVGuide is reporting that will play the feared janitor from Manny and Luke's school. Claire will be in charge of a school dance and is asked to deal with the janitor.

Some of my least favorite news of the day comes from ABC and their brilliant plan to bring Elisabeth Hasselbeck into Good Morning America. Don't worry kids, she won't be on it full time, she'll be bringing us stories that related to families and young children. She'll continue to bring her views to The View.

EW is reporting that the recent American Idol winner Lee DeWyze's album title and release date have been announced. Live it Up will come out November 16th.

Producers of the new hit show Hawaii Five-O big dream for this season is to get the original Danno from the original series, James MacArthur.

A fairly quiet day today on the news front, so I'll end it with a picture and a couple of trailers.

First is a picture from the November 7th episode of The Simpsons, a new boy joins the school named Edward that's a vampire, sound familiar? The boy is voiced by Harry Potter himself Daniel Radcliffe.

Now we've got another trailer for the upcoming Depp Jolie adventure thriller The Tourist.

Then we've got the second trailer from the TIFF wonder kid 127 Hours.

As always, enjoy your viewing.
