What's Playing in the Media Room: October 11th
Last Man Standing - 8:00 - ABC - Season 1 Episode 1/2
Episode Title: Pilot/Last Baby Proofing Standing
In the first part of the premiere, Mike plays Cupid for Mandy by setting her up on a blind-date with Kyle, one of his employees who he thinks would be the perfect guy for her. But Mike's set-up gets off track when Kyle accidentally meets Kristin. Meanwhile at work, Mike's long-time boss and friend, Ed, announces that he's grounding Mike from their catalogue's international photo shoots and putting him in charge of the company's webpage.
Mike is outnumbered by his wife and daughters when they all agree that baby proofing the house is a good idea. But soon Vanessa has second thoughts when she finds herself home by herself babysitting Boyd and can't release the toilet seat's complicated childproof latch. Meanwhile, Mike thinks it's time for Mandy to earn her own money and gets her a job delivering pizzas -- without first consulting Vanessa.
I'll check out the first episode of this Home Improvement with Daughters instead of boys remake. I've watched several promos for this and I think it looks awful.
NCIS - 8:00 - CBS/Global - Season 9 Episode 4
Episode Title: Enemy on the Hill
The NCIS team searches for the person and motive behind a contract killer targeting a Navy Lieutenant Commander. Meanwhile, Abby uncovers new information about her family after undergoing tests for a kidney donation.
The Biggest Loser - 8:00 Two Hours - NBC - Season 12 Episode 4
Episode Title: Episode 1204
This week, the contestants are surprised by three special guests – past season contestants Hannah Curlee, Adam Hurtado and Marci Crozier, who each visit and inspire the team that represents his or her respective age group. Then all the players are off to a wild weather challenge in which they have to race while battling the elements – including wind, rain and snow – to win coveted letters from home. The winning team receives an unexpected and very emotional bonus prize. Later, trainer Bob Harper takes his team to the pool for last chance workouts, where one player tries to overcome his fear of the water, while trainer Dolvett Quince pushes his team to new heights in the gym and trainer Anna Kournikova takes her team to a favorite spot – the new “Biggest Loser” tennis court. In the end, the losing team at this week’s weigh-in must decide who will be going home.
Flashpoint - 8:00 - CTV - Season 4 Episode 10
Episode Title: Wild Card
An armed robbery exposes a mother’s double life, while Ed gambles with his own safety and a promise he made to his family.
One of the best Canadian shows ever? I feel I say that every week, it's just that good.

Juliet starts a new school, where she defends herself against the school bully and her teacher Mr. Carpenter comes to her rescue. Bridget asks Charlie to do her a favor that could come back to haunt her, while Agent Machado looks into Malcolm's disappearance.
I had to double check this description as it didn't sound right. That being said, I've still only watched the first episode. Supposed to rain all weekend at this point, I'm sensing a power session to get through 4 episodes of this.
Body of Proof - 10:00 - ABC/CityTV - Season 2 Episode 4
Episode Title: Lazarus Man
When a man presumed dead walks off Ethan’s examination table, he opens up a whole new investigation and leads the team to another body, but just when they think the case is closed, Megan makes a shocking discovery using the DNA found at the crime scene.
Unforgettable - 10:00 - CBS/CTV - Season 1 Episode 4
Episode Title: Up In Flames
When a crime scene is destroyed in an explosion moments after Carrie catches a glimpse of the room, her memories become a crucial piece of the investigation.
Of course her memories become crucial, how else would the show work? Sorry, I just don't like the premise of this show.
Parenthood - 10:00 - NBC/Global - Season 3 Episode 5
Episode Title: Nora
Kristina is rushed to the hospital by an unlikely accomplice, while Julia and Joel receive positive news on a possible addition to their family. Sons of Anarchy - 10:00 - FX - Season 4 Episode 6
Episode Title: With an X
SAMCRO’s ties to the cartel are jeopardized when an important package is compromised.
We caught up with this on the weekend, Sutter has certainly upped the game on Sons this season. Really shows me just how bad last season was. This is what SAMCRO should be.
