What's playing in the Media Room - October 19th 2010

The slowest day of the week for me, Glee has it's first repeat tonight, the tv fan's most hated word, repeat, ugh. I don't watch the NCIS franchise so that helps me out quite a bit. Watched The Event last night and that had me frustrated again, nothing happened. I'm a Lost fan, so I can handle an episode where nothing happens, but at least have good acting. I tried to watch Big Bang theory but apparently my pvr messed up. Lesson learned, scan the list of recorded shows at 10:45 to make sure they've all recorded to the right amount of time before they start airing on the other coast so you have a chance to record that one if something messed up. I caught up on the episode of Terriers I'm behind on, this show really does get better everyweek. Most of the bloggers I follow love this one as well, if you get a chance to get your hands on it, watch it. You'll be entertained.

No Ordinary Family - 8:00 - ABC - Season 1 Episode 4

Episode Title: No Ordinary Vigilante

Jim is mistaken for a vigilante while trying to protect people in the park at night. Meanwhile, Daphne uses her powers to get herself invited to a party she normally wouldn't have been considered for.

Is anyone else watching this? Was anyone else confused about how one week a cop appeared to be killed and the next week we hear nothing about it?


NCIS - 8:00 - CBS - Season 8 Episode 5

Episode Title: Dead Air

The team investigates the death of a radio DJ and a Naval Officer who were both killed live on air, and their job becomes more difficult by the discovery of various suspects.


The Biggest Loser - 8:00 Two Hours - Season 10 Episode 5

Episode Title: 1005

Five contestants vie for a spot at the ranch, the teams race through food stations in downtown Los Angeles, members of the losing team get a heartwarming surprise, anotehr contestant leaves after an intense weigh-in.


One Tree Hill - 8:00 - The CW - Season 8 Episode 6

Episode Title: Not Afraid

With Halloween approaching in Tree Hill, Brooke and Julian receive a visit from someone unexpected. Nathan kicks off a new career, and Quinn and Clay have trouble adjusting to life at the beach house. Haley and Mia host an open mic night at Tric.

Callen's ex-partner, Tracy Keller, holds a Navy Recruitment Center hostage. Callen mediates with her to learn more about a hijacked shipment of missiles.


Life Unexpected - 9:00 - The CW - Season 2 Episode 6

Episode Title: Honeymoon Interrupted

Cate and Ryan decide to stay at a local hotel to help make up for the fact that they never had a real honeymoon. Unfortunately for them, Baze's work retreat takes place at the same hotel.


Being Erica - 9:00 - CBC - Season 3 Episode 5

Episode Title: Being Adam

Adam gets the chance to alter the regret that led him to a life of violence and crime.


Billy The Exterminator - 9:00 and 9:30 - A & E - Season 3 Episode 3
and 4

Episode Titles:Donnie Gets Dirty and Wolf Attack

Craziness in the south I'm guessing, lots of laughing by us.

This show is soooo bad it's awesome, do yourself a favor and pvr just
one.


Running Wilde - 9:30 - Fox - Season 1 Episode 5

Episode Title: The Party

Steve tries to prove he can be less extravagent by throwing an environmentally friendly party.

Enjoy it while it's still here, next week is a double Raising Hope episode and some are wondering if Wilde will return. Some of us are praying it doesn't.


Detroit 1-8-7 - 10:00 - ABC - Season 1 Episode 5

Episode Title: Murder in Greektown/High School Confidential

Everyone is on alert after a teenage girl is killed at the same high school Lt. Mason's daughter attends. The numerous suspects include a construction worker with a record and the girl's boyfriend. It appears to be an inside job when the son of a prominent defense attorney is murdered after hours in a Greek restaurant.

This show has been lost in the shuffle somewhere and isn't getting enough press or ratings. It's one of my favorite new shows of the season now.


The Good Wife - 10:00 - CBS - Season 2 Episode 4

Episode Title: Cleaning House

Alicia gets involved in an ethical scandal, and risks disbarment and could also ruin Peter's political campaign. Meanwhile, a third candidate is revealed for state's attorney.

A possible day and time change may be in the future of this one.


Parenthood - 10:00 - NBC - Season 2 Episode 6

Episode Title: Orange Alert

Zeek goes overboard with the Halloween celebration and gets upset when Haddie, Amber and Drew refuse to join in the fun. Meanwhile, Adam and Kristina are nervous about Max's new plans for the holiday. Sarah's relation with Gordon gets even more complicated when she confronts him about the kiss. Meanwhile, Julia struggles with women right when Sydney chooses a costume she doesn't approve of.


Sons of Anarchy - 10:00 - FX Network - Season 3 Episode 7

Episode Title: Widening Gyre

The Grim Bastards have a problem that could jeopardize Samcro's new business arrangements.

OH BABY! Just get to Belfast and let the war begin Samcro!


Caprica - 10:00 - Space - Season 1 Episode 12

Episode Title: Things We Lock Away


The repeat of Glee sucks, but it helps me catch up, I still haven't even started Sunday's lineup yet. Plus I've still got a few things from last night to catch up on as well. It just never ends, sigh. Tonight I'll be looking at No Ordinary Family, Detroit 187, Parenthood and of course Sons of Anarchy *cough* best show on television *cough*
