We had a very successful weekend in our household, we cleared the pvr and we took a big chunk out of our viewing list of the US Cable shows. Plus we were able to go out and watch The Social Network, great movie and recommend it to anyone that uses Facebook. So pretty much everyone.
Another busy night on the tube tonight, let's take a look and see what we've got here.
Dancing with the Stars - 8:00 Two Hours - ABC Season 11 Episode 5
Episode Title: Performances
The third week of performances features contestants telling stories through their dances. Competitors include Florence Henderson, Bristol Palin, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Rick Fox, Kurt Warner and Jennifer Grey.
How I Met Your Mother - 8:00 - CBS - Season 6 Episode 3
Episode Title: Unfinished
Barney uses his tricks normally used to land women to try to get Ted to take a job designing a new building for GNB. Meanwhile, Robin 'drunk dials' Don.
I HATED last week's episode, it was total filler and did nothing to advance the main plot, ummm, excuse me producers. I thought you said you weren't going to do that anymore? Second episode in and you're back at it. *Sigh*
Chuck 8:00 - NBC - Season 4 Episode 3
Episode Title: Chuck Versus the Cubic Z
Villainous nemeses Hugo Panzer ("Stone Cold" Steve Austin) and Heather Chandler (Nicole Richie) return to haunt (and hunt) Chuck and Sarah. The conniving Chandler, however, stirs up Chuck's curiosity when she claims she has information about his mother. Meanwhile, Morgan preps the store for an all-important video-game release. Stacy Keibler also guest stars.
House - 8:00 - Fox - Season 7 Episode 3
Episode Title: Unwritten
House and his team must treat both the physical and psychological ailments of a popular children's author when she collapses just moments before attempting suicide. When the diagnosis proves difficult, House becomes motivated as he believes the answer to her problems lie within her latest novel, which he happens to be a fan of. Meanwhile, House and Cuddy go on a double date with Sam and Wilson. I'm loving this right now, can't say enough good things about House M.D.
90210 | 8:00 - The CW - Season 3 Episode 4
Episode Title: The Bachelors
Silver hosts a cancer awareness charity event in honor of her mom. Liam, Navid and Teddy are auctioned off in a bachelor auction. Teddy also insults a theatre student. Annie and Ade figure out what happened between Naomi and Mr Cannon while Dixon and Ivy spend the night together.
Rules of Engagement - 8:30 - CBS - Season 5 Episode 3
Episode Title: Rug-Of-War
Jeff wants to see if he can get Audrey to get the rug back after Jeff gets sentimental about the rug and reminds Audrey about all the good times they had on that rug.
Can't this show just go away already.
Two and a Half Men - 9:00 - CBS - Season 8 Episode 3
Episode Title: A Pudding Filled Cactus
Though he accepted Lyndsey's offer to move in, Alan continues to use Charlie's beach house to have sex with Melissa.
I really liked the first episode and then the second bored me all over again, how much longer can I put up with this show I wonder?
The Event - 9:00 - NBC - Season 1 Episode 3
Episode Title: Protect Them from the Truth When President Martinez reveals a tough new strategy to force Sophia to reveal the detainees' plans, a new detainee, Maya, is thrown into the chaos. Meanwhile, Vicky and Carter are in possession of a very important hostage, and FBI Agent Collier's suspicions become more severe.
I'm really not digging where this show is going, it appears to be missing something but I can't put my finger on it yet.
Lie to Me - 9:00 - Fox - Season 3 Episode 1
Episode Title: In the Red
Airing in Lonestars now canceled timeslot.
Lightman tries by all means to stop a man filled up with revenge from robbing a bank.
Gossip Girl - 9:00 The CW - Season 4 Episode 4
Episode Title: Touch of Eva Nate suspect that Juliet is hiding something and confronts her about it. Blair tries to undermine Chuck's hapiness. Meanwhile, Dan finds himself again between his feelings for Serena and Vanessa.
Mike & Molly - 9:30 - CBS - Season 1 Episode 3
Episode Title: First Kiss
Mike has a hard time dealing with Molly being better then him at something when they go bowling.
Castle - 10:00 - ABC - Season 3 Episode 3
Episode Title: Under the Gun
With the latest case of a murdered bail bondsman, Beckett discovers that Castle's wild imagination and theories may be on the mark. Beckett's ex-partner makes a surprise arrival and Castle is forced to watch the two reminisce and engage in a little romance.
Hawaii Five-0 - 10:00 - CBS - Season 1 Episode 3
Episode Title: Malama Ka Aina
Five-0 discovers a connection between Samoan gangs and a mainland mob after an escalating gang war wreaks havoc during a local high school football game.
I really enjoyed this last week, I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying this one. The Five-O is really starting to come together, maybe this is the hit that Alex O'Loughlin has been looking for after bombing out of two other series' very quickly.
Chase - 10:00 - NBC - Season 1 Episode 3
Episode Title: The Comeback Kid
After hiding with a false identity, fugitive Jack Druggan tries to return to his mobster glory days with a vengeful killing spree. When the U.S Marschals try to catch him, tension gets worse between Annie and Jimmy as they race to strike Druggan first, before he can kill again.
I have to think that this has to be the next show cancelled, that or The Whole Truth. My money is on this being the last week of this show, at most next week.
Weeds - 10:00 - Showtime - Season 6 Episode 7
Episode Title: Pinwheels and Whirligigs
After way too many incidents of gunplay, the Botwins and Doug seek some downtime at a Montana fair, where Nancy and Shane create a scene in line for the roller coaster, and Andy enters an unusual eating contest.
I'm loving this season of Weeds after a few so so seasons.
The Big C - 10:30 - Showtime - Season 1 Episode 7
Episode Title: Two for the Road Cathy and Sean hit the road to visit their father (Brian Cox). Along the way, she tells Sean about her cancer diagnosis, which knocks him for a loop. Back at home, underage Adam, under the not-so-watchful eye of his father, has a bit too much to drink and winds up under the weather after vomiting on Marlene's lawn.
I'm really enjoying this one, Showtime really does love their strong female leads.
So, another busy Monday night, I haven't dropped anything from last week. So my plate is super full once again. How I Met Your Mother, House, Two and a Half Men, The Event, Castle, Hawaii Five-0, Weeds and The Big C. If I'm lucky I can watch an episode of Sons of Anarchy attempting to catch up on that.
