What's Playing in the Media Room - January 6th 2011

So it's Thursday and I don't know about you, but my pvr is filling up fast and only half the schedule has returned. God help me in a few weeks when everything is back. Watching the Juniors last night finish what turned out to be a painful game for Canadians has really messed up my viewing this week.

I did end up pvr'ing V last night, I know, surprise surprise. I'm always afraid of giving up on a show in case that show I miss turns out to be awesome. In talking with a few other tv watchers, turns out last night was a pretty good episode. So once I'm done here, I'll be heading down to my media room to watch it while I prepare some dinner.

So let's look at tonight's schedule. CBS returns full force tonight with their Thursday night lineup. The comedies from NBC are still a few weeks away sadly.


Wipeout! - 8:00 - ABC - Season 4 Episode 1

Thoughts from the Media Room: While I'm interested in seeing people fall in the winter, this will have to be a miss since I've got too much building on the pvr already.


The Big Bang Theory - 8:00 - CBS - Season 4 Episode 12

Thoughts from the Media Room: Anyone that grew up listening to Nirvana or Soundgarden has seen this movie and loved it.


Bleep My Dad Says - 8:30 - CBS - Season 1 Episode 12

Ed gets thrown a curveball when baseball memorabilia that he wants is sold to someone else. Also, Vince and Bonnie's new living situation with Ed and Henry makes their baby-making efforts more work than romance.

Thoughts from the Media Room: I've gone on and on about how much I loved The Social Network. So I'll be all over this tonight as well, I just wish I had CNBC in HD. Did I really just type that? Wow.


Private Practice - 10:00 - ABC - Season 4 Episode 11

Thoughts from the Media Room: If you follow this blog you know my feelings on this show. It's what is wrong with society today. So it's safe to say I haven't missed the gang from the shore during the holiday season and I won't be watching this one.


It should be noted that if you missed V, it'll be running tonight on Space at 10:00 pm.


So what will be playing in my media room: I'll be watching, Big Bang Theory, The Facebook Obsession and Mrs Media Room still likes CSI so that'll be getting watched as well. Hopefully a bit of catch up as well if I'm lucky. Enjoy your viewing.
