Thoughts from the Media Room: I don't know if you watch this series, but it's a fantastic look at the industry and I'm loving everything Apatow is doing right now.  Loved the news that he's working on Knocked Up 2.

Thoughts from the Media Room:  I really hope The Simpsons ends soon, it hasn't been relevant in a long time.

The Caped Crusader saves dismal Gotham City and gorgeous Vicki Vale from the freaky Joker.

Bob rallies the team to cook up some business, so he sends middle child Gene to push samples in the streets, eldest daughter Tina to work the grill and youngest daughter Louise to staff the counter. The day takes an unexpected turn when the health inspector pays a visit because of a little rumor Louise started during "show and tell" at school.

Thoughts from the Media Room: I really don't have any desire to watch this one, but from what I can gather from the actual critics, the pilot isn't super great but it's watchable and has potential to get better.

Desperate Housewives - 9:00 - ABC - Season 7 Episode 12

While Susan continues to undergo dialysis, she is stunned when her flighty mother, Sophie, along with her Aunt Claire, pays a visit but won't agree to get tested to see if she would be a potential kidney donor candidate. Meanwhile, not knowing where biological daughter Grace is causes Gaby to turn her feelings of loss into an obsession; Lynette exacts revenge on Tom after she learns about his past with Renee, and Bree tries to befriend a friendless Beth Young.

The Cape - 9:00 Two Hours - NBC - Season 1 Episode 1 and 2
Season Title:Pilot / Tarot

Fueled by a desire to reunite with his wife Dana and son Trip, former police officer Vince Faraday becomes "The Cape" -- his son's favorite comic book superhero -- and takes the law into his own hands and to battle criminal forces that have overtaken Palm City. Faraday is joined by Max Malini, the ringleader of a circus gang of bank robbers, who mentors Faraday and trains him to become "The Cape," as well as investigative blogger Orwell who wages war on crime and corruption in Palm City. Together, they must battle Ark corporation billionaire Peter Fleming -- The Cape's nemesis -- who moonlights as the twisted killer "Chess."

The Cape must battle Chess and his latest accomplice Cain -- a/k/a Chef -- as they try to take down the Patrick Portman, the Secretary for the Bureau of Prisons, in an attempt to take over Palm City's jails. After narrowly escaping death, The Cape must rely on Orwell, Max Malini and the circus gang to nurse him back to health and then help him save Patrick before it is too late.

Thoughts from the Media Room: There is nothing about this one that appeals to this comic book geek, plus people are probably quite nervous how NBC will treat this.  They've been quick to pull the plug on much better shows.

Family Guy - 9:00 - Fox - Season 9 Episode 8
Episode Title: New Kidney in Town

After years of drinking with the guys, Peter's love of the sauce has finally caught up with him and he needs a kidney transplant. Brian offers him one of his, but will a canine kidney be compatible? Meanwhile, Meg and Chris collaborate on a poem to celebrate a very important visitor.

Thoughts from the Media Room: I was lucky enough to watch this episode and Hank Moody is back and better than ever.  This series really should be on everyone's dvd shelf.

When Cleveland and Rallo take Donna's advice and spend some more time together, they discover Rallo's talent for a rodeo-like sheep-riding sport called "mutton bustin'." Meanwhile, Cleveland Jr. gets jealous of Rallo and Cleveland's new relationship and tries to sabotage their time together.
