What's Playing in the Media Room - November 14th


As I type up tonight's listings, I'm doing some serious catchup on The Walking Dead, I've heard quite a bit of grumbling from you out there about how it isn't as good as the first season.

Dancing With The Stars - 8:00 Two Hours - ABC/CTV - Season 13 Episode 18

In the Latin Dances the semi-finalists will dance either the Samba or the Paso Doble. Then it's time for the Argentine Tango with close embrace. Finally there will be a Cha Cha Cha relay.

Barney and Robin each keep a secret from Nora and Kevin. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang goes to a concert.


The Sing-Off - 8:00 Two Hours - NBC - Season 3 Episode 9
Episode Title: Top 5 Groups: The Rythm & Blues Revue
The groups collaborate to perform a medley of James Brown's "I Feel Good," the Jackson 5's "ABC" and Beyonce's "Crazy in Love." Later, the acts perform R&B tunes individually.


Terra Nova - 8:00 - FOX/CityTV - Season 1 Episode 8
Episode Title: Proof
Maddy's life is in danger after she learns a secret about one of Terra Nova's top scientists. Josh makes a deal to bring Kira back from 2149, which could be trouble for the colony.


Gossip Girl - 8:00 - The CW/Much Music - Season 5 Episode 7
Episode Title: The Big Sleep No More
he gang attend a performance of Punchdrunk's provocative theater experience, "Sleep No More," which translates into masks, anonymity and some surprising romantic twists by the end of the evening. Meanwhile, Diana's target is Serena in her quest to ruin Gossip Girl. Dan is out on his book tour, but things are not as they appear to be to his friends and family.

Max and Caroline are curious at Johnny's girlfriend, Cashandra's, motives when she hires them to make cupcakes for her art show, featuring Johnny's art work.

Alan comes home from the hospital and encounters a series of daunting challenges.


Bored To Death - 9:00 - HBO - Season 3 Episode 5
Episode Title: Two Large Pearls and a Bar of Gold
George and Ray tag along when Jonathan is hired by an old college flame (Casey Wilson) and her father (Rene Auberjonois) to guard her family's wedding jewels. Meanwhile, the bursting of Ray's romantic bubble forces him to move in with George.


House - 9:00 - FOX - Season 8 Episode 6
Episode Title: Parents
A teen out to follow his late father into show business arrives with partial paralysis, and the team uncovers a family secret while treating him. Meanwhile, another patient (John Scurti) insists he's diabetic; House tries to remove his ankle monitor so he can attend a boxing match in Atlantic City; and Taub is distressed to learn that Rachel wants to move to the West Coast with their infant daughter. Sportscaster Jim Lampley has a cameo as himself.

Episode Title: The Crush and The Crossbow
Zoe is asked out on a date by a local veterinarian; there's an opening for the annual turtle race when race-car driver Brian Vickers (who appears as himself) drops out, and Lemon thinks the mayor is the perfect person to fill in for him; and Wade gets an unexpected visitor.


Mike and Molly - 9:30 - CBS - Season 2 Episode 8
Episode Title: Peggy Gets a Job
Mike talks his mom into getting a job, never thinking it will interfere with Molly's life.


Enlightened - 9:30 - HBO - Season 1 Episode 7
Episode Title: Sandy
Amy is delighted to get a visit from Sandy (Robin Wright), whom she met at the Hawaiian retreat, but their friendship begins to deteriorate when Helen rolls up the welcome mat, and Amy has to turn to Levi for a lodging option. Their relationship is strained even more after Sandy misses a yoga session at Abaddonn. Directed by Jonathan Demme.
