David finally tells Kathryn about his secret romance with Mary Margaret in an attempt to get out of a loveless marriage. Meanwhile, in the fairy-tale world, Prince Charming interrupts his search for Snow White to help Abigail find something she lost.


The Amazing Race - 8:00 - CBS/CTV - Season 20 Episode 1
Episode Title: Tears of a Clown (Santa Barbara, Argentina)
The 20th edition of the reality series begins with 11 teams of two meeting in Santa Barbara, Cal., where they receive instructions to fly to Santa Barbara, Argentina, to start their global trek. During the first leg, the duos skydive from 10,000 feet.

Thoughts from the Media Room: Get ready for a season of Brennnnnnnan from a certain former Big Brother player, good lord it's going to be a long season. Producers really need to mix this one up, it's starting to bore me.


The Simpsons - 8:00 - FOX/Global - Season 23 Episode 14
Episode Title: At Long Last Leave
In the series' 500th episode, the Simpsons are banished from Springfield, thanks to Homer's drunken antics, Bart's shenanigans and Lisa's annoying environmental activism, and end up in an off-the-grid, post-apocalyptic encampment called "The Outlands." Alison Krauss performs the series' theme song.

Thoughts from the Media Room: 500 episodes, Congrats. Has anyone watched any of the last 200 hundred?


Napolean Dynamite - 8:30 - FOX/Global - Season 1 Episode 5
Episode Title: Bed Races
Uncle Rico and Napoleon team up for Preston's annual bed races to keep six-time champ Grandma from winning yet again. Still smarting from a high-school-football defeat years earlier, Rico's desperate to return to glory, so he persuades Napoleon to cheat.


Desperate Housewives - 9:00 - ABC/CTV- Season 1 Episode 13
Episode Title: Get Out of My Life
Susan discovers who the father of Julie's baby is; Orson makes it his duty to nurse Bree back to health; Mrs. McCluskey throws Roy out of her house and he finds refuge at the Solises, where he proves to be an effective disciplinarian to Juanita and Celia, so Gaby won't help him patch things up with Mrs. McCluskey; Porter and Preston Scavo are evicted from their apartment and want to move back home, but Lynette has other ideas; and Mike tells Renee about Ben's loan-shark problem.

Season 12 of Donald Trump's business-savvy series opens with 18 celebrity players creating and selling deli sandwiches. The star contestants include Arsenio Hall, Clay Aiken, Cheryl Tiegs, Debbie Gibson, Adam Carolla, Lisa Lampanelli and Penn Jillette.

Family Guy - 9:00 - FOX/Global - Season 10 Episode 14
Episode Title: Be Careful What You Fish For
When a boatload of Mercedes-Benzes sinks in Quahog harbor, Peter, Joe and Quagmire hop in a fishing boat to salvage cars for themselves. They can't, but they do meet a talking dolphin (voice of Ricky Gervais), who soon moves in with the Griffins.


Shameless - 9:00 - Showtime - Season 2 Episode 7
Episode Title: A Bottle of Jean Nate
Jasmine throws an end-of-summer blowout and invites Fiona down to David's boat but neglects to inform her that Steve and Estefania will also be on board; Lip tries to get back into Karen's good graces and prepares a prenup for her and Jody. Meanwhile, the Ian and Lip impasse heats up into a physical confrontation; Frank tires of doing Grammy's bidding and wants her out, but Fiona is enjoying the old girl's company.


Luck - 9:00 - HBO - Season 1 Episode 4
Ace meets with Claire about a charitable endeavor for prisoners, and discusses his new venture with an old partner. Meanwhile, Jerry's gambling nemesis lures him into a dangerous game that may require an intervention by his racetrack buddies; and Walter turns to Rosie to be his new jockey.


The Walking Dead - 9:00 - AMC - Season 2 Episode 9
Episode Title: Triggerfinger
Rick, Glenn and Hershel find themselves trapped and facing a battle for survival against a new army of foes, both dead and alive; Lori encounters danger on the road and Shane attempts to rescue her and return her to the farm.

Thoughts from the Media Room: I haven't watched this yet, but plenty of you have messaged me on BBM and Facebook telling me horrible it was. This weeks "looks" like it should have some action. Here's hoping.


American Dad - 9:30 - FOX/Global - Season 7 Episode 11
Episode Title: Old Stan in the Mountain
After expressing hatred for old people, Stan is magically transformed into one himself, and a frail one at that. Meanwhile, Roger takes Francine to a dance contest, and she quickly discovers that it's not what she had expected it to be.


Pan Am - 10:00 - ABC/CTV - Season 1 Episode 14
Episode Title: 1964
A new year brings big changes to the crew members' personal lives in the Season 1 finale. Colette gets caught up in a whirlwind romance with a foreign prince, while Dean stands trial for the decisions he made during the Haiti landing. Elsewhere, Kate tries to uncover a double agent; Amanda makes Laura a startling offer; and Broyles puts Maggie in a life-threatening position.

Thoughts from the Media Room: The producers are hoping for a miracle to give this a second season.


CSI:Miami - 10:00 - CBS - Season 10 Episode 14
Episode Title: Last Straw
Miami sorority sisters are murdered one-by-one, and the CSIs try to stop the killing spree. One death occurs at a horse stable, and the owner's daughter may know something about the crime.


Eastbound and Down - 10:00 - HBO - Season 3 Episode 1
Episode Title: Chapter 14
In the third-season premiere, Kenny finds himself in Myrtle Beach, S.C., as the closer for a minor-league baseball team, but he also has a reunion with April for his son's first birthday in his North Carolina hometown.

Thoughts from the Media Room: Kenny F'in Powers is back baby!! Can't wait to see this one. The most offensive politically incorrect character on television, yet hilarious all at the same time.


Spartacus:Vengeance - 10:00 - TMN - Season 3 Episode 4
Episode Title: Empty Hands
Spartacus leads survivors through the woods; Crixus returns to a place of past suffering; Lucretia pries into Ilithyias affairs.


Comic Book Men - 10:00 - AMC - Season 1 Episode 2
Episode Title: Life After Clerks
Kevin blows into town and gets the Stash staff to face off in a game of street hockey.

Thoughts from the Media Room: I haven't watched the premiere yet, but from what I read on twitter last week. The only way this show survives is if Kevin is on it.


House of Lies - 10:00 - Showtime - Season 1 Episode 7
Episode Title: Bareback Town
April challenges Marty to stay monogamous while the Pod is consulting for a pharmaceutical firm in Washington, D.C., which leaves Jeannie on the hook for being especially friendly to a female client. Back at home, Jeremiah confides in April about something serious and personal; and Monica has big news for Marty.


Californication - 10:30 - Showtime - Season 5 Episode 7
Episode Title: Here I Go Again
When a drunken Richard shows up at Hank's with no recollection of the previous night, Hank helps him backtrack and they wind up at the place of a stripper named Holly—who is holding an incriminating piece of evidence that belongs to Richard. Later, Holly turns up at Karen's door and Hank acts as if the intruder is his new girlfriend; and Becca gets upset when Holly shows interest in her boyfriend, Tyler.


Life's Too Short - 10:30 - HBO - Season 1 Episode 1
Episode Title: Pilot
In the premiere of this mockumentary following the life and career of actor and little person Warwick Davis, Davis is forced to come to terms with a crumbling marriage, meager job prospects and an accountant who is terrible at math. He also seeks advice from Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, who are shocked to learn that Liam Neeson wants to take a stab at comedy.

Thoughts from the Media Room: Oh what a night, Kenny P and Ricky Gervais all in one night.
