Daily TV News - September 3rd 2010

So, the new tv season starts next week and there is so much info flying around twitter right now, I can't keep track of it and there is so much to share with everyone. I'll start posting daily tv updates for September just to keep people up to date on their tv addictions. Plus it'll be a place for me to keep things like a library.

So let's getting started.

Entertainment Weekly reported today that Jimmy Fallons awesome Emmy opening finally hit the net today, but when I just went to look it up, it's been online for a few days now so I don't know what they're talking about. But regardless, if you didn't watch the Emmy's the other night, check it out.

Spoiler tv has posted a tonne of Cast and Promo pics for No Ordinary Family here.

On Cougar Town Ken Jenkins, see picture below has been cast as Jules' father.

Better of Ted fans, I know there aren't many of you out there. But ABC has been kind enough to release the last two episodes of the series that didn't originally air because it was cancelled. You can view them through I-Tunes, Amazon's Video on Demand or via other means.

ABC had a press release in regards to the starter episode of Castle, wow, big difference between ABC's releases and NBC's. So excited for Castle this year.

NATHAN FILLION AND STANA KATIC RETURN FOR SEASON THREE OF "CASTLE," PREMIERING SEPTEMBER 20 ON ABC

When the new season of "Castle" begins, Beckett hasn't heard from Castle since he left for the Hamptons months ago to finish writing his second Nikki Heat novel, "Naked Heat" (on sale September 28). The most Beckett, Ryan and Esposito have seen of Castle is a bookstore standee of him advertising an upcoming book signing. So when Beckett and her team burst into a shadowy apartment on the trail of a murderer, the last thing they expect to see is the real-life Castle standing over a dead woman's body holding a gun! As Castle protests his innocence, Beckett has no choice but to arrest him on suspicion of murder, on the Season Three premiere of "Castle," MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Castle" stars Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, Stana Katic as NYPD Detective Kate Beckett, Susan Sullivan as Martha Rodgers, Molly Quinn as Alexis Castle, Ruben Santiago-Hudson as NYPD Captain Roy Montgomery, Tamala Jones as Medical Examiner Lanie Parish, Jon Huertas as NYPD Detective Javier Esposito and Seamus Dever as NYPD Detective Kevin Ryan.

Guest Cast: Michael Rady as Evan Murphy, Charlene Amoia as Ana Marie, Gino Cafarelli as Dean Carbino, Justice Gamble as bartender, Lisa O'Hare as Kitty Canary, Craig Gellis as Earl Moreland.

"A Deadly Affair" was written by Andrew Marlowe and directed by Rob Bowman.

"Naked Heat" (out September 28) is the thrilling sequel to Richard Castle's "Heat Wave," which spent 16 weeks on The New York Times bestseller list when it was published last fall. This is Castle's second mystery novel to feature Nikki Heat, a tough, sexy and professional detective based on NYPD Homicide Detective Kate Beckett, with whom Castle solves crimes and trades barbs from one case to the next. The two are no strangers to innuendos and unfulfilled sexual tension while trailing murderers

The LA Times posted a great ride along video of the Cast from Sons of Anarchy.

I'm not sure how many people heard about or saw Larry King visiting the Ryan Seacrest radio show the other day. But good ol' Larry and Ryan perform a Lady Gaga tune. Good lord it awful, but you can't help but watch.

Today Fox released a couple promo posters for the upcoming season of Glee.

Fox was busy today with the Promo Posters because they released a GREAT one for House.

From the Fringe set ShowPatrol is reporting that Canadian twins Aaron and Shawn Ashmore(Ice Man from the Xmen movies) play brothers in a November episode.

A great article in the New York times talks about new HBO Mobster Show Boardwalk Empire here.

And finally, I read an interesting article this afternoon over at TV Squad that discussing why True Blood appears to have lost it's way, read that article here.

There is more that I could forward on to everyone, but I don't want to bore people. I'm going to work on a way to organize these daily updates better until I find a format I like. That's all for now.
