So we're half way through the previews and that brings us to Thursday. This day of the week gives me the willies since it's so jammed with shows, thankfully most of them are half hour comedies. Let's jump right in.
8:00 PM
ABC:
My Generation (September 23rd, 1st Season)
New Show!
Premise:
What a difference ten years can make. In 2000, a documentary crew follows a disparate group of high schoolers from Greenbelt High School in Austin, TX as they prepare for graduation, then revisits these former classmates ten years later as they return home to rediscover that just because they're not where they planned doesn't mean they're not right where they need to be.
These students couldn't wait to graduate and head out into the real world. But the world they were entering got very real very fast. As these classmates return home to revisit their old hopes for their future, they'll discover that, even if you don't get exactly what you thought you wanted out of life, it's not too late to get what you need.

NBC:
Community (September 23rd, 2nd Season)
Love this show! The problem with it is there is never an episode that is just ok. They're either amazingly funny or they're just blah.
A look at Betty White's guest spot on the Community Premiere:
Scoops:
- The producers are circling a big name star to guest in a Pierce-centric episode that happens later in the season. In it, the mischievous leader of a group of older students called the "hipsters" — so named after the surgical procedure they've all had — attempts to "steal" Pierce from the study group. If producers have their way, it'll be a fun little only-on-TV reunion.
- Betty White will be doing a rap with Abed and Danny at the end of the episode in which she is guest-starring.
CBS:
Big Bang Theory (September 23rd, 4th Season)How pumped am I to have this show returning? Pretty effin pumped! A show about comic loving nerds, it just speaks to me for some reason. BBT has quietly become the biggest comedy on television passing Two and a Half Men.
Promo 1:
Promo 2:
Where we left our favorite nerds: The guys set up an experiment on the building's roof to bounce a laser off the moon and back to Earth. Leonard thinks Penny might enjoy that, so he goes to get her, only to find she has male company. Penny and her date accompany them to the roof to observe the experiment. However, in the course of doing so, Penny's date demonstrates himself to be extraordinarily dim witted. Later that night, Penny gets drunk and sleeps with Leonard but realizes it was a mistake the next morning. Leonard goes to ask Leslie Winkle to do the same, but gets turned down. After getting drunk, Leonard visits Penny's apartment and asks to sleep with her, which she declines, leaving Leonard confused.
Meanwhile, Howard and Raj submit an online dating site profile for Sheldon that surprisingly results a match. Sheldon believes dating sites to be "hokum," and refuses to meet the woman the site found for him. After Raj and Howard blackmail Sheldon by hiding a dirty sock (an acute fear of his) in his apartment, they meet his match, Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik). She acts almost exactly like Sheldon, who asks to buy her a drink. Afterwards, Howard comments "Good God, what have we done?"
Scoops:
- Sheldon will have a very specific and unique relationship with Amy Farrah Fowler, played by Mayim Bialik.
- Leonard and Penny will go back to being friends and they'll have other love interests.
- Bernadette will be back.
- But the best spoiler for them all is that Wil Wheaton may be back as an evil version of himself to stir the pot and ridicule the gang a bit more!
- To bolster ‘Big Bang’s chances, CBS is running a promotional blitz as we speak, and loading up on winning guest stars such as Mayim Bialik (back in the Sept. 23 premiere as Sheldon’s “perfect match,” Amy Farrah Fowler), Laurie Metcalf (playing Sheldon’s mom) and Apple founder Steve Wozniak as… Apple founder Steve Wozniak.
- First episode titled: The Robotic Manipulation
Bones (September 23rd, 6th Season)
Promo:
Scoops:
When he returns, Booth will be more confident and will create some conflict with Brennan when he talks about how great his life is compared to hers.
- Bones' exotic excavation will not be as productive and revealing as she hoped it would be.
- A mid-October episode will feature David Alan Grier in the role of Professor Bunsen Jude, the Science Dude. Prof. Jude is the quirky host of a children's TV program who hopes to get Brennan to appear on his show. Not surprisingly, Brennan will refuse, claiming that he is not a serious scientist. But she will agree to make a guest appearance if Jude and her interns can solve a murder on their own. My guess is that they will!
- Hunky Antonio Sabato, Fr., will play a bouncer in the 'Jersey Shore'-themed episode.
- 'The Maggots in the Meathead,' the third episode of the season, will venture in 'Jersey Shore' territory. In the episode, the team will investigate the death of fitness guru Ritchie "The V' Genaro. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino from 'Jersey Shore' was approached to play the Ritchie but negociations fell through due to contractual difficulties with MTV. Ritchie's mother Janine will be played by Lisa LoCicero.
- The series has ordered an episode that sends Booth and Brennan to the Jersey Shore -- complete with characters from the current crop of Jersey reality shows. And the fourth episode of the new season sounds like a strange one and of particular interest to fans of the supernatural. It will appear to Brennan that she is solving her own murder. She is looking at a body and slowly realizes it's her, which leads her to rethink her entire life. This is no dream. She'll try to keep it hidden from Booth for as long as she can, and will ultimately change how she approaches him.
- Booth's new girlfriend will be named Hannah and not Ashley as previously reported. Ashley was the development name. In the first episode, we will see where each character comes from, but after they come back to D.C., we won't go back to these locations in flashbacks.
- Booth's new journalist-girlfriend turns up stateside to surprise Booth in episode 2, but not before Bones gives Booth a little extra grief about his decision to leave his new love behind in Afghanistan.
- One of the biggest spoiler released these past weeks is that Booth will get a new love interest for roughly five episodes.
- "Gravedigger" Heather Taffet will be back and someone much worse will be introduced in the same episode
- Angela and Hodgins will stay together and face every obstacle.
- The official premiere title is 'The Mastodon In The Room,' and it features a rather awesome opening sequence in which every member of the team is accounted for and beckoned back to D.C. to "save" Cam, who as the federal medical examiner is being hammered by the media about a controversial corpse in her custody. Some people don't appreciate her argument that veterans are suffering brain damage caused by combat. The gang will have been gone for just seven months when Caroline summons Booth and Brennan back to the Jeffersonian in the Sept. 23 season premiere to help Cam.
- Deirdre Lovejoy will reappear for her final turn as murderous Heather "Gravedigger" Taffet, who has one last card to play after being convicted. The same episode will introduce someone much worse, who will dog us for the season. That baddie will be someone highly motivated to do great harm to our people -- a personal vendetta. One of the characters will be a victim.
- All this talk about a Bones character getting killed off may be much ado about bupkes. “Whether or not we’re going to have an actual fatality is still under discussion,” maintains Nathan. “And if it happens, it would be later in the season.”
The Vampire Diares (September 9th, 2nd Season)
I'm only half way through the first season of this, it started off slow put it's picking up and I can say that it's much better then I expected. But really, when will this Vampire trend end?
Promo:
Where we left off: It's Founder's Day, and everyone is preparing for floats and fireworks. Jeremy, still alienated from Elena for lying to him about everything, seek Anna's company; Anna gives him a vial of her blood and offers him the choice of becoming a vampire. Though Damon and Alaric team up to try to stop John Gilbert from utilizing the mysterious device to kill vampires, John sets his plan in motion, leading to a chaotic, destructive, and deadly end to the Founder's Day celebration. Caroline is severely injured in a car accident involving Tyler, and it is suggested that Tyler and his father, the mayor, are werewolves. John kills Anna and burns many of the tomb vampires alive; Tyler's father dies along with them. Stefan realizes that, despite everything Damon has done, he does love his brother. Elena confronts John with the knowledge that he is her father, Stefan having informed her so. Bonnie saves Stefan and Damon from John's rampage for Elena's sake but tells Stefan that if Damon kills another innocent person, she will not hesitate to take him down. Damon finally realizes that there is some good in him, and that he may actually want to become a better person. Jeremy learns of Anna's death; he drinks Anna's blood and overdoses on pain pills, hoping that his emotional pain will ease if he becomes a vampire. Damon kisses a person whom he believes to be Elena, who is then invited into Elena's house by Jenna and stabs John Gilbert, who recognizes her as Katherine, pretending to be Elena. The season ends with the real Elena entering the house and going toward the kitchen, where Katherine is.
Description of the first episode:
KATHERINE HAS RETURNED WITH A VENGEANCE — Picking up on the same night as last season’s finale, Elena arrives home to a nightmare as she discovers Uncle John’s and Jeremy’s fate. At the hospital, Sheriff Forbes is comforted by Matt, Bonnie and Damon while she waits to hear if Caroline will survive the car accident. After a confusing conversation with Elena about the night’s events, Damon is the first to realize that Katherine has returned. Katherine’s arrival sends Stefan and Damon on a path to find out what she wants, why she’s back, and how much of a threat she is to the people they love. Meanwhile, still reeling from his father’s death, Tyler is surprised when his charming and mysterious uncle, Mason Lockwood, arrives to console the family. Episode titles: The Return, Brave New World, Bad Moon Rising and Memory Lane
Scoops:
- The show is casting the potentially recurring role of Vanessa, a very attractive, smart, young grad student who assists Damon and Alaric with their werewolf research at Alaric's alma mater, Duke University.
- Taylor Kinney, who appeared on 'Trauma,' is joining the cast in the recurring role of Mason Lockwood, younger brother of late Mayor Lockwood. Described as Tyler's "cool" uncle, Mason is sexy and athletic and possesses an easygoing charm. Though he has more control than his nephew, he can flip in an instant if crossed. He will be introduced in the season premiere.
- Word is Taylor Kinney may be requiring full-body hair extensions to play his character when the full moon comes out over Mystic Falls. The show is looking for a ruggedly handsome African American actor to play a carnival worker named Carter, who'll flirt with Bonnie and pick a fight with Tyler.
- The season premiere is titled 'The Return..'
- it's Katherine's arrival that awakens something in Stefan. "He accepts that he's a vampire more; he's less plagued by being a victim and being run over by his brother," Paul Wesley says. "He becomes more proactive, and he knows how to have fun sometimes." In other words, get ready for Freaky Friday: Sibling Vampire Edition.
- You can rest easy because we will be seeing plenty of Damon and Alaric teaming up in season two. We asked the show's very own Buffy (spin-off idea: Alaric The Vampire Slayer!) Matt Davis, about the unlikely duo's partnership and here's what he told us: "Our bromance is definitely developing. You'll see much more of that for sure. I love Ian to pieces and I love working with him and I think our chemistry as friends and the way Kevin and Julie write the two of them together, just the archetypes of the two characters together I think fit really well." If that wasn't cute enough for you, Matt recently tweeted a picture of the duo's nifty supernatural rings with the caption, "Wonder Twin power unite in shape of a bromance!!!"
NBC
30 Rock (September 23rd, 5th Season)
Love this show half the time, for me, I just don't find it consistent. That being said, I still catch every episode.
Where we left off: Liz meets the man of her dreams; Jack's love triangle comes to a head; Kenneth tries to avoid a promotion that would send him to Los Angeles; and Jenna's new relationship may be ruined after her boyfriend falls for another woman.
Scoop:
Yes, Jack MacBrayer is off the show because he just really wasn't working out. Also, monkeys are going to fly out of Tina Fey's butt. Translation: They would never let Kenneth/ Jack go! But how crazy is this Twitter photo that Grizz sent out via Twtter http://twitgoo.com/1jn8s1 that clearly shows Kenneth working for some crazy network that has an eyeball logo or something. Traitor! I'm appalled, Kenneth. Just appalled.
CBS:
$h*! My Dad Says (September 23rd, 1st Season)
New Show!
This is a great story, guy thinks of a genius Twitter account and it takes off. Guy gets a book deal and then a tv deal. Have I mentioned that I love Twitter?
Premise:
$#*! MY DAD SAYS (pronounced "Bleep My Dad Says"), based on the popular Twitter feed by Justin Halpern, stars Emmy Award winner William Shatner as Ed Goodson, a forthright and opinionated dad who relishes expressing his unsolicited and often wildly politically incorrect observations to anyone within earshot. Nobody is safe from Ed's rants, including his sons, Henry, a struggling writer-turned-unpaid blogger; and Vince, the meek half of a husband/wife real estate duo with domineering Bonnie. When Henry finds he can no longer afford to pay rent, Ed reveals a soft spot and invites Henry to move in with him. Henry agrees, knowing that the verbal assault will not abate and now there will be no escape. Describing their father/son relationship is tricky, but Ed will easily come up with a few choice words.

ABC
Grey's Anatomy (September 23rd, 7th Season)
Where we left off: Part two of the two-hour season finale. Meredith and Cristina wheel Derek to the OR to find Teddy, but Jackson tells them she and Owen already left with their patient, so Cristina and Jackson decide to perform the surgery instead, while Meredith and April wait in the other room. Mark tries to keep Alex alive while Lexie sets out to retrieve blood for Alex and runs into Clark, who reveals he's after Derek, Richard and Lexie, because they are the ones who decided his wife should die. A sniper shoots Clark in his shoulder and Lexie escapes. Bailey and Mary try to help Percy, but are unable to get him to an OR because the police shut off the elevators; Percy eventually dies in Bailey's arms. Richard, who is outside, hears all the emergency calls from the doctors who are still inside and sneaks past the cops into the hospital, much like Owen once he realizes Cristina is still in the hospital, marking this as his final decision between Teddy and Cristina. Mark and Lexie (who also says she loves Alex) are able to stop the bleeding in Alex's chest and while delirious, Alex calls out for Izzie and begs her to come back. Owen finds everyone else in the OR and, unbeknownst to Meredith and April, so has Clark. Owen tries to calm Clark down while he is holding a gun to Cristina's head trying to make her stop operating on Derek. Meredith realizes Clark is in the OR and tries to sacrifice herself instead of Derek since she is his wife, is like a daughter to Richard, and is Lexi's sister. Owen lunges for Clark and gets shot. Jackson tricks Clark into believing Derek is dead by removing the leads on Derek's heart monitor, so Clark leaves. They continue surgery while Meredith helps tend to Owen and then suffers a miscarriage. The SWAT team enter the hospital while Richard finds Clark, who then decides to shoot himself with his last bullet. The hospital turns into a crime scene and Meredith silently mourns the death of her unborn baby.
Scoops:
- Ryan Devlin will return to the show in two episodes set to air during November sweeps. If you recall, Devlin played Mandy Moore's husband in the two-part season finale last season. Derek and Meredith's dream house will finally start to be built! Alex's reaction to being shot and operated on without any drugs in the finale will be very, well, Alex! He'll tell stories about how he almost got the shooter and how he's carrying a bullet around in his chest. Icing on the cake will be when Alex tells how easy it is to get laid now that women think he's a hero!
- More whining from Meredith to come early this fall! Trauma counselor Andrew Perkins will not clear Meredith to return to the OR right away. She'll actually go through a few frustrating episodes to be cleared.
- Derek will go to jail for speeding.
- The couple getting married in the premiere will either be Callie & Arizona, Alex & Lexie or Owen & Cristina.
- When Cristina is finally cleared to do surgeries, an accident in the OR will freak her out to the point that she'll collapse on the floor and sob.
- Dr. Webber will return to his chief duties when Derek, who feels responsible for the deaths that happened in the season finale, steps down. Teddy will make out with the new trauma counselor in the first episode.
- Even though nearly two months will have passed since the shooting rampage, Derek will still be in pretty bad psychological shape when the season starts. A major character will be sent directly to jail by the end of the season premiere.
- Callie is about to pop a life-altering question, and it's safe to say that Arizona will be a bit freaked-out.
- The season premiere picks up pretty soon after the dramatic events of last season's finale. The characters are dealing with what has just happened, putting the pieces back together again. There were a lot of "Come to Jesus" moments that each character had in some way, and now we'll look at what those declarations made in the moment will mean for the future – whether people live up to them, or don't.
- Caterina Scorsone, who's playing Amelia Shepherd on 'Private Practice,' will appear in the third episode of 'Grey's Anatomy.' Dr. Amelia Shepherd goes to Seattle to reconcile with her brother, Derek. The two have not been on speaking terms since Amelia turned to drugs while grieving the death of her father, who was shot and killed in front of her and Derek. Amelia will be reluctant to head to Seattle to see her brother, though she'll get a supportive push from Addison to reconcile.
- Sloan will team with Callie to perform a major operation in the Season 7 premiere. The patient is a 19-year-old young man who suffers twitches and facial drooping because of an advanced tumor. It's so advanced, in fact, that his family has already held a living memorial for him before the surgery.
- James Tupper is joining the show in the recurring role of Andrew Perkins, a trauma counselor brought in to help Seattle Grace recover from that nightmarish season-ending bloodbath. He will appear in at least two episodes.
The Office (September 23rd, 7th Season)
One of the biggest pieces of news this offseason was that Steve Carell would make this his last season and will leave once his contract expires at the end of the season. This really shouldn't come to a shock to anyone that watches the show. It didn't seem like he was in it much last season and his movie career is really starting to take off. Warning: DO NOT WATCH Dinner For Schmuks - WORST Movie I've ever seen.
Where we left the gang from Dundler Mifflin: The press learns that Sabre printers catch on fire and Jo, suspecting that someone within the company leaked the information, sets out to discover who the whistle-blower is. Dwight made a call and bought the building that the office is in.
Scoops:
- Jan will return for the fourth episode of the upcoming season when Michael has a cold sore and discovers that cold sore is a form of herpes. This prompts Michael to get in touch with all the women he went out with, including Jan, thinking he may have infected them.
- Timothy Olyphant will be playing a rival paper salesman who used to date Pam.
- Amy Ryan returns to the show next season and will appear in eight episodes. Her character, Holly, will not be that please to be coming back to Scranton especially because she's got a pretty good thing going with her Nashua boyfriend, played by Rob Huebel.
- The rumour that started yesterday was that the producers wanted Harvey Keitel to replace Carrell. Not sure how I feel about that one.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (September 23rd, 11th Season)
Don't know about you fellow tv fans, but I'm losing interest in this show pretty fast. Grissom is gone and the reason to watch this show left with it.
Promo:
Where we left the team: The CSIs attempt to capture the elusive Dr. Jekyll with the help of another serial murderer, Nate Haskell (Bill Irwin), who claims to know who he is.
Scoops:
- Justin Bieber will guest star in the season premiere and will return later this season as Jason McCann, a troubled teen who is faced with a tough decision involving his only brother.
- The first episode is titled: Shock Waves
Fringe (September 23rd, 3rd Season)
This should be a show I watch, being a geek and all. But for some reason I don't.
Promo:
Where we left off: Walternate is informed of the original Walter's presence in hospital, but William Bell and Olivia manage to rescue him first. Walternate lies to Peter about the machine's real purpose, claiming that it can help heal the other world. Alter-Olivia and Alter-Charlie are unable to capture Walter, but Alter-Olivia sees a surveillance shot of Olivia and Walter and goes to confront Walternate. Peter meets Alter-Olivia who drives him to his new apartment. Walter and Bell go to Harvard to collect equipment needed to return home and Walter reveals his intense dislike for him, considering him a selfish war profiteer while he was locked away for 17 years and is still broken inside. Bell reveals the alternate universe equivalent of himself died in a car accident as a young man. Olivia confronts Alter-Olivia who recognizes that Olivia has feelings for Peter. After a fight Olivia knocks Alter-Olivia unconscious and poses as her. Peter discovers the machine is symbiotic and needs a particular human to control it: him. Olivia and an oblivious Alter-Charlie go to collect Peter to move him for his own safety. Olivia knocks out Charlie and reveals herself to Peter, as well as filling him in on the machine's real purpose and Walternate's intentions. Peter states he doesn't belong in the other world or Olivia's world. Olivia reveals her feelings for Peter, making him decide to leave together. They race to meet up with Walter and Bell at the Opera House, but Alter-Olivia and a team of Fringe Commandos catch up with them there. Bell and Olivia hold off the assault while Peter and Walter set up the dimensional device to return home. Without a fuel source to power the device, Bell sacrifices himself to create a nuclear reaction using his body's unstable molecular state. Before dying he reveals that he took Walter's memories away at his own request, referring to what Walter was becoming. Walter tells Bell that he was wrong about him and forgives him. Olivia, Walter, and Peter return home successfully. Peter tells Walter he'll never understand him, but Walter travelled into another universe twice to save him, which counts for something, so Peter forgives him. Olivia goes to the typewriter communication station to await orders and is revealed to be Alter-Olivia infiltrating our side. The Olivia from our world is seen in a military detention center on the other side. Walternate visits her, cruelly stares at her without speaking then leaves her in the dark isolation of solitary confinement.
Scoops:
- Olivia will not be stuck behind "Over There" bars for too long.
- Initially, we'll see more of "over there." The other side is a world where John Lennon still exists and Martin Luther King is still alive, and that it's actually a harder place to live.
- 'The Wire's' Andre Royo will guest star in the show's third season premiere. He will play Henry, a soulful taxi driver who is unexpectedly forced into a tense situation with Olivia.
- Amy Madigan has been tapped to play Olivia's mother on the "other" side. She will appear in at least four episodes, including the season premiere. As foreshadowed by the chalkboard anagram in Walternate's lab in the season finale, character Sam Weiss will make an appearance or two.
Nikita (September 9th, 1st Season)
I'm intrigued by this one, based on the film Le Femme Nikita. I'll watch the first episode and go from there I think with this one.
New Show!
Premise:
The story centers on a fictional secret branch of the CIA, known as Division, which trains young assassins. It usually selects young people with a troubled background, often in prison and on death row. After identifying promising candidates, Division fakes their death and offers them a new life. The new recruits must learn to shut off their emotions to become efficient killers.
Cast:
Maggie Q as Nikita. Six years before the start of the series, Division rescued Nikita from death row, faking her execution, and forced her to become an assassin. After being betrayed, Nikita turns rogue and becomes determined to bring down Division and free the other recruits. Maggie Q will perform her own stunts.Lyndsy Fonseca as Alex, a street kid arrested after a robbery. Michael and Division offer her a chance of a new life.
Shane West as Michael, a Division operative. He has been charged with training new recruits and bringing back Nikita, for whom he has lingering feelings.
Aaron Stanford as Birkhoff

ABCPrivate Practice: (September 23rd, 4th Season)
Where we left off: Maya and her unborn baby are fighting for their lives on the operating table, and Addison, Amelia and Fife try everything humanly possible to save them. Meanwhile, Sam operates on an incoming crash victim and later makes a grim discovery; Cooper makes an ill-timed but valiant effort with Charlotte, and the staff’s world gets rocked by an unexpected death.
Scoops:
- James Remar has been cast in the potentially recurring role of Gibby, a physician with Doctors Without Borders and an old friend of Pete's. He'll first turn up in this season's third episode.
- Currie Graham and French Stewart will play brother patients in the season premiere. Graham will play Russell, one of Charlotte and Sam's patients who needs a kidney transplant. Stewart will play his estranged brother, Kevin, who is willing to give up a kidney. However, once the docs meet Kevin, they realize he may not be fit to be a donor because of his mental state. Caterina Scorsone, who plays Amelia Shepherd, is now a series regular. Read our 'Grey's Anatomy' spoilers above for information on Amelia's trip to Seattle Grace to reconcile with her brother Derek.
- Justine Bateman will guest star in the second episode as the single mother of a child diagnosed with autism. Her character has managed her son's condition fine thus far, but new developments prompt her to seek out Oceanside's expertise.
- Violet and Pete will get married in the season premiere. The show picks up several weeks after Dell's death and finds the newly reconciled lovers joining for a beautiful but last-minute wedding in a rose garden. Violet's jitters create a 'Runaway Bride' moment that's only encouraged by Cooper, the Maid of Honor. Cooper has put some doubts in her mind about this wedding because of his own insecurities about his wedding, and that's what gets worked out in the moments right after she runs out.
- Caterina Scorsone, who plays Dr. Amelia Shepherd, has been promoted to series regular. As for the Season 4 premiere of Private, the story will jump ahead a few weeks from Dell's death.
- The second episode will introduce a character named Jane Finch. But this is no plain Jane but an effeminate male character transitioning into becoming a female.
The Apprentice (September 16th, 10th Season)
Does anyone actually still watch this show?
Where we left off: Bret Michaels won it all.
“The Apprentice” will return to its roots on Thursdays this fall when it ditches celebs in favor of regular people. And, not just any regular people—season ten will feature contestants who suffered major setbacks as a result of the recession. Competition could be as fierce as ever when participants trade financial woes and unemployment for the coveted prize. In addition to fame and fortune, the winner will score a job with Donald Trump.
CBS:
The Mentalist (September 23rd, 3rd Season)
Promo:
Where we let off: A murder by a Red John copycat puts Patrick Jane's psychic friend Kristina Frye in grave danger when Frye reaches out to the real Red John, with dire consequences for both her and Jane; at which, Red John kidnaps Frye.
Scoops:
- Malcolm McDowell is returning to the series as Britt Stiles, the leader of the Visualize Self-Realization Center.
- 'Friday Night Lights' alum Kevin Rankin has been tapped for the potentially recurring role of Patrick Jane's brother-in-law, Danny Ruskin. As we first reported, Rankin's character is a charismatic con man who uses his charm and bravado to mask his anxieties. He's a hustler, a con artist, a ladies' man - a cunning ne'er-do-well. Through his sister, he has an emotional hook in Jane that he's not afraid to tug at when it serves his nefarious purposes. Ruskin also blames Jane for his sister's death. But he will have to rely on Jane to help him when he is suspected of murder. Rankin will appear in the second episode of the season.
- The show is currently casting a potential love interest for Van Pelt. The character, named Craig O'Laughlin, is in his late 20s to early 30s, a football player-turned-FBI agent. The role is recurring.
- The show will introduce the brother-in-law of Patrick Jane, who still blames Patrick for his wife's murder by Red John, in its second episode. The brother-in-law is charismatic and uses his charm and bravado to mask his anxieties. He'll have to rely on Jane when he's suspected of murder.
- For its third season premiere, titled "Red Sky At Night," the show is looking for an actor to play Gale Bertram, the new director of the Attorney General's Office. The role is expected to last at least five episodes.
FX: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia (September 16th, 6th Season)
USA Network: Burn Notice (November 11th, 4th Season)
Well that wraps up Thursday and it looks like September 23rd is going to be one busy Thursday.
What will be my schedule for that day?
Big Bang Theory, CSI, Beep My Dad Says, Community, Vampire Diares, 30 Rock, The Office, Nikita. Yikes that's a lot.
