The first thing I'd like to talk about today was Glee last night, the more I think about it, the more I didn't like the episode. I know I know, I'm not a heartless bastard, I really enjoyed the last 10 or so minutes, very heartfelt. It was sad, it was joyful. But for the previous 50 minutes, I wasn't entertained at all, I didn't like it at all. I love the Brittany character, but I love the Brittany character in the back row of the Glee club where she mumbles some of the greatest lines ever said on television, ''I was pretty sure Dr. Pepper was a dentist.'', ''She's the one they made me talk to when they found out I was keeping that bird in my locker.'', ''Did you know that dolphins are just gay sharks?... Yeah.'' Classic stuff. She often mumbles so low that you have to rewind the show to re-hear the golden line. Outside of her classic lines, I really don't find the character all that interesting. The fact they turned her into a child last night; I didn't find interesting. When you first find out that she still believes in Santa, it's cute, it's funny but then it quickly goes down from there. The initial shock of Sue dressing up as the Grinch was funny and I thought it was cute when Becky put on the fake antlers, but it was going down a very predictable route. I get it, Sue has a soft centre and plays a heartless bitch on the outside, but time after time she does the right thing in the end. I started to think a few weeks back how Glee is really starting to bore me because it's getting every so predictable week after week. Between the horrible themed episodes and how predictable it's getting, I really have to wonder why I"m still watching the show. I was surprised when Finn broke up with Rachel because I was pretty sure that he ended it with her a few weeks ago. But I guess like a famous Rachel before her they were just on a break.
When I first looked at tonight's schedule it looked out of wack to me and I couldn't figure it out. I had to go to the The Futon Critic to take a look at the Fall Grid to see what's missing. There is no Law & Order on tonight of any kind, plus there really isn't anything on at 10:00. Yes, that's right I count The Defenders now as really nothing on. There are several shows this season I look at and think, "Oh, it's so sad, why does anyone still watch you, everyone know you aren't going to make it to 2011-2012."
