After all the amazing stuff that was on Sunday night, Monday night was quite the letdown wasn't it? HIMYM, wasn't that great, I don't understand why "The Captain" can't be her freaky old father that's trying to protect her and is sizing up Ted on the boat. That whole storyline is brutal. The other storylines from last night weren't much better, I had figured out Lilly was preggers fairly quickly into the night so the big reveal wasn't a big thing for me. Two and a Half Men wasn't that good either, this whole dump on Alan thing is really starting to get old for me. I've never been able to wrap my head around why he's so broke? He's a chiropractor who lives at his brothers place and doesn't pay rent. Sure, he gives his ex-wife money, but where does the rest of it go? He's uber cheap, I don't get it. I'm at a friends place and we were actually watching Mike and Molly last night and I must say, Bravo! The show has greatly improved since the premiere episode I caught all the way back in September. Then we watched Castle, wasn't thrilled about that one either. I must admit that I was reading twitter and reading about the Baseball Winter Meetings so I wasn't paying too much attention to it. I hold out hope because big things are coming in January for us Castle fans.
Enough of last night, let's look at tonight and what we've got.
A Charlie Brown Christmas - 8:00 - ABC
In the Emmy and Peabody-winning animated cartoon from 1965, Charlie Brown and Linus search for the meaning of Christmas; the short ``Prep & Landing: Operation Secret Santa'' accompanies the holiday classic.
Minute to Win It - 8:00 - NBC - Season 3 Episode 1
Episode Title: A 60 Second Miracle
Contestants compete for cash and holiday prizes.
Glee - 8:00 - Fox - Season 2 Episode 10
Episode Title: A very Glee Christmas
It's Christmas time at McKinley High and Finn tries to get everyone in the holiday spirit; Brittany needs no help because she still believes in Santa Claus. In other news, Sue scams the teacher's Secret Santa.
We're way behind on all things Christmas this year, so all these Christmas episodes are really starting to freak me out.
One Tree Hill - 8:00 - The CW - Season 8 Episode 11
Episode Title: Darkness On The Edge of Town
In this last episode before the winter hiatus, the friends have to face a difficult day. Quinn has to deal with Katie who has come back to finish what she started. Haley has to make a rough decision about her future and Brooke faces a devastating obstacle.
No Ordinary Family - 9:00 - ABC - Season 1 Episode 10
Episode Title: No Ordinary Sidekick
George mistakenly receives credit for thwarting a robbery that Jim stopped; conflict arises between Katie and Stephanie; Daphne becomes increasingly suspicious of Katie's boyfriend.
The commercial is really hyping this one, so I hold out no hope for this episode. The show seems to drop more storylines then Castle.
The Biggest Loser - 9:00 Two Hours - Season 10 Episode 12
Episode Title: Marathon
Loved ones cheer on the final four contestants as they run a marathon; a contestant confronts her unsupportive parents; two out of three finalists are determined.
Raising Hope - 9:00 - Fox - Season 1 Episode 11
Episode Title: Toy Story
Burt lets Jimmy in on his annual holiday scheme; Virginia enlists the family in the church's living Nativity.
Life Unexpected - 9:00 - The CW - Season 2 Episode 11
Episode Title: Stand Taken
Lux and Tasha are forced to deal with the consequences of their recent confrontation with Lux's former foster parents, Valerie and Trey. The outcome could greatly affect both of their futures, which means that many of Lux's long-kept secrets will finally be revealed to Cate and Baze.
Running Wilde - 9:30 - Fox - Season 1 Episode 8
Episode Title: It`s a Trade-Off
Thinking their own lives are more difficult than each other's, Steve and Emmy walk in each other's shoes.
Every week this stays on the air amazes me. Awful, awful numbers week after week.
Detroit 1-8-7 - 10:00 - ABC - Season 1 Episode 10
Episode Title: Shelter
The body of a young man, who was believed to be missing since 1967, is found in an abandoned fallout shelter.
I hear this one is on the train to cancelationville, BOOOOO!!! But even more interesting, is thie first episode that only has one case in the title?
A weird night it seems, but I'll be watching Glee, No Ordinary Family, Raising Hope and Detroit 1-8-7.
