Arrow debuted last night, I haven't watched it yet, but I've heard good things and better yet, the ratings for last night were very, very good.
Where have you seen this Green Arrow before? He made appearances on Heartland, Private Practice, New Girl and Hung. He has even appeared in an episode of the Canadian Super Show, Flashpoint.
Another premiere last night was Nashville, the numbers came back very good as well. Twitter was blowing up in the 10-11 Hour last night in tweet after tweet about this one. Very well recieved so far.
Just looking over the cast of Nashville to see if anything stands out and boy oh boy does it. We have to go way back to 1990 and a little movie called, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Nashville has scooped none other than April O'Neil from Channel 6 News New York City. Then I started looking at who else has played the character. More interesting stuff:
Mae Whitman who plays Amber has voiced the character in the current version of the cartoon. In the sequels, Paige Turco took on the role. You might know Paige from such hits as Person of Interest, Party of Five and NYPD Blue.
On a side note, when you Google Image search April O'Neil Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There are some versions of the character that I don't remember from the cartoon in the 90's.
The final premiere that I'm going to mention and it got CRUSHED in the ratings last night, Chicago Code. I guess Third Watch fans haven't forgotten. It's till on my pvr as well, yes, I've got a lot of catching up to do tonight.
One last thing, my love for Animal Practice appears to be slipping, anyone else growing bored with it?
So tonight, the debates swing their ugly head and this week they've chosen Thursday to mess around with. That's ok with me, I've already got so much to catch up on from last night I need a light night. Only 6 things tonight. Hahahaa. Sad.
Normally a Thursday for me is 11 shows, so I need all the help I can get. Thankfully Fridays are REALLY light. Like 1 maybe 2.
Just a heads up, the Debates fall on Tuesday next week, share the load across all days. Thankfully CHCH is airing Army of Darkness that night.
