Tonight I'm going to start off with last night's Survivor, first off; I'm loving the Old Vs. Young tribe idea. I really hope they give it a go and let us see where this experiment goes. It just isn't about looking at hot bods on the beach all day.
Can that Shannon guy be a bigger jerk if he was trying? At one point I think he said 3 or 4 totally insulting things in less than a minute.
If you haven't watched the first episode and you plan on it, skip ahead as these are some quotes from the first booted contestent.
"Oh my gosh, I wish there was a better word than love," says the contestent. "It was the best experience ever, ever, ever. I would do it again in a flash, no matter how difficult being away from home is."
"The only disappointing thing was I just didn't experience all the things I could experience, like being hungry," she continues. "I would've like to experience what it was like to be starving. We don't know what starving is and I never really got to feel starving. And I didn't get to do the challenges, I didn't get to shine on them. But I loved it."
My thought: I can't say I'll miss you and you're husband was right. You were the first one booted.
Moving right along.
The big thing I'm flipping on to you all is a first look at Dexter Season and woah. The 26th can't come soon ENOUGH!!
House fans might be excited to know that Candice Bergen of Murphy Brown fame has been cast to appear on House M.D. as none other then Cuddy's mother. Bergen will be appearing in multiple episodes and should start in an arc starting in January.
And speaking of House, here's a look at the new opening sequence for this season.
I will admit; after watching this preview for next weeks Sons of Anarchy, I was giddy with excitement!
It would appear that super producer JJ Abrams likes to be busy, he's already got Undercovers premiering this year, he's working on the next Star Trek film, there is constant rumors that he's trying to get a Cloverfield 2 off the ground and he's a producer on the upcoming Misson Impossible flick. Now comes word that Fox has ordered a pilot for another Abrams producer called Alcatraz. There are currently no plot details but I'm guessing it might take place on an island in a bay with a prison.
The worst news I've read since the Dallas pilot order a few days back is that ABC is developing a series based on the novel, Prince of Tides, yes that prince of tides. The auther is directly involved with the production and hopes the series follows the book a little more closely then the movie apparently.
Another piece of casting news that fans of Oz and Castle might enjoy. Former Oz star Lee Tergesen has signed on for a role in this season of Castle. For those that don't know, this season will have an ongoing plot that will occur. The gang will be trying to catch a serial killer, The 3XK killer. The killer kills in 3's and Lee will be a prime suspect.
Here's another promo for Boardwalk Empire, enjoy!!! If you aren't pumped for this one kids, you aren't a fan of all things good, like cotton candy, kittens and scratch n sniff stickers!

It looks like the cast of Big Bang Theory is getting a raise for the next few years. Last year the big 3 of the show earned 60 grand an episode, they're getting bumped to 200,000 plus a 50k raise per year for the next 3 years.
Speaking of the geeks of Big Bang Theory here's a first look.
